The Evolve Sanctuary

Founded by Nic and Pete Evans of Evolve Health Labs, Evolve Sanctuary is a wellness retreat set in far north NSW. It’s located an hours drive inland between Byron Bay and Coolangatta in the lush rainforest hinterland, in the presence of majestic Wollumbin, Mount Warning.

The Vibe

Evolve Sanctuary offers weekend wellness and cooking retreats. These two-night discovery retreats include yoga, tea ceremonies, ice baths, float tank meditation, breathwork, infrared saunas, cooking demonstrations, campfire conversations, bodywork treatments, red light treatments and so much more.

At the core of these retreats is nutrition. The food philosophy here is very simple and is based on Pete’s last ten years of promoting a paleo and ketogenic approach, which includes the highest quality meat, seafood, fruit, veg, nuts, seeds and eggs. The founders are passionate about supporting the local farmers and fisher people that supply this amazing bounty to us. Vegetarians and vegans will be catered for at all times along with anyone on a carnivore, paleo and keto approach.

All meals are offered in a communal and nourishing environment.

Accommodation & Facilities 

Stay in one of the six eco cabins immersed in the beautiful rainforest. There’s a two-bedroom cabin featuring an eco-friendly queen sized beds and a new bathroom. All cabins feature their own private bathroom. As well as the incredible holistic treatments that Evolve Health Labs are so revered (cryo therapy, red light treatments and infrared saunas etc), enjoy the refreshing benefits of bathing your being in the magnesium pool and fresh spring water creeks – sounds heavenly.

What we Love

These retreat are an opportunity to reconnect and be reminded about the importance of self-care and self-love.  You may feel inspired to join in the campfire conversations or do your own thing – it’s all very relaxed and free-flow. At this stage, the retreat is open only to adults although families, corporates and private groups will be able to be accommodated very soon.
