The vibe

Located around 20-minutes drive from Byron Bay, Harvest Newrybar is an elegant establishment set in a heritage house with large verandahs overlooking native gardens. Harvest houses a world class restaurant, wood-fired bakery and a fabulous deli that offers a curation of the best of local artisan produce.

Feast on creative cuisine showcasing local producers and native Australian ingredients. For dinners, cozy up around the warmth of the fire and sip on award-winning rare wines (sourced from smaller and conscientious vineyards). Menus change regularly. They offer regular workshops on topics such as regeneration and bees and beekeeping. Make sure you check out their Sourdough Weekends held every Saturday and Sunday.  Grab a coffee from the on-site Coffee Cart and walk through the gardens to the bakery and see the 118-year-old oven in action. The bakery offers mouthwatering homemade pastries and famous sourdough bread!

The Space

The vibe is relaxed yet elegant. Imagine long languid liquid lunches on the verandah overlooking the gardens. Step outside Harvest and meander through the quaint village that offers cottage-style homeware stores – a visit to Harvest is  ideal when you want to escape town and venture out into the stunning Byron Bay hinterland.

What we love

Simply put, the coffee is good here and the coffee cart opens nice and early at 6.30am!
