Meet GP Dr. Jamie Rickcord who is passionate about consulting and treating modern-day health issues with plant medicine. Ananda Clinics is an ethics approved research site.

Common medical reasons that patients seek endocannabinoid medicine may include anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and pain. Dr. Jamie applies a holistic and integrative approach to clients before prescription of plant remedies.

Explains Dr. Jamie: ‘ The endocannabinoid system is responsible for balance and homeostasis. Nervous, immune, emotional, sleep and cognition are all controlled by it to some extent. Endocannabinoid medicine uses plant based cannabinoids to treat this system and therefore return balance’.

All consults attract a medicare rebate if done face to face. Consults for cannabinoids and mental health offered.

Situated inside the Habitat Lifestyle Precinct, Ananda Clinics is a sparse space with lovely green accents that reflects the vision of medical-meets-wellness so well.

What’s not to love

Plant medicine is not necessarily cheap. Be prepared to pay around $100 for a bottle of CBD oil.
